BIOBROM® C-103 is a manufacturing use pesticide used in formulating microbiocidal bactericides. End use formulations are used to control microbial, fungal and algal growth in industrial water system such as cooling towers, evaporative condensers, pulp and papermill effluents, oil-recovery systems, metal-cutting coolants, air-conditioning systems (effective against Legionella). In the USA it is also approved for use in industrial preservation applications and in disinfection of POTW (Publicly Owned Treatment Works) effluents.
